This Remington came to me via Gunbroker auction. It was manufactured in August 1982. This is a nice 20ga slug barreled shotgun. I put a 23" Imp Cyl barrel on it and will shoot skeet or upland game birds with it. Price was $419 + $30 shipping. I sold the Slug barrel on eBay.com and cleared a $132 profit so my aquisition cost was reduced to $317. The 23" vent rib Imp Cyl barrel I put on it was a leftover from upgrading another shotgun.

The photos below were taken after cleaning up the shotgun.

Somewhat normal abbrasion on the stock "handling marks" caused from placing the shotgun on unpadded surfaces.

Above and below the action has very light, but telltale marks from a scope mount.

I don't know what caused this bulge, but removal of the butt plate didn't disclose anything other than perhaps it was put into a Lead Sled and recoil from a heavy load did this.
This unfortunately is the only major flaw in the shotgun. Cleaning the channel of debris and filling it with a clear finish may restore the looks.
