Concrete Footings
Eastern NC communities are all in "High Wind" zones. Thus footing requirements for buildings are greater. Your outbuilding or home addition acts like a kite in high winds, lifting on the foundation. Use of a Monolithic pour reduces the footing requirements for single story construction or sheds. This greatly improves the weight of foundation and minimizes your expense when building. An example of this is shown in the pictures behind this page. NC-Concrete does not do masonry work involving brick or concrete block.
Construction of any building larger than 12 feet in length, width or height requires a building permit. When hired to do your work, NC-CONCRETE will produce a scale drawing of your foundation which is ready to show to your city/County when obtaining a permit.
